Saginaw, Michigan: General Motors has named Morley as one of its top global suppliers of 2021, presenting them with a Supplier of the Year award for the second year in a row.

Morley is one of 134 suppliers, representing 16 countries, to receive this prestigious recognition.  The 2021 Supplier of the Year winners were selected among GM's approximate 32,000 direct and indirect suppliers worldwide. Recipients are distinguished global suppliers that have exceeded GM requirements, supporting GM in providing customers with innovative technologies and among the highest quality in the automotive industry.

"Having our associates recognized for their continued commitment to delivering extraordinary service is incredibly humbling," said Paul Furlo, Morley's President & CEO. "We sincerely value our partnership with General Motors. A partnership that spans over a century and is more familial than business."

A global cross functional team selects the Supplier of the Year recipients based on performance criteria in Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, Customer Care and Aftersales and Logistics.

"This year's Supplier of the Year event was special not only because it's the 30th anniversary of the program, but because it provided us with the opportunity to recognize our suppliers for persevering through one of the most challenging years the industry has ever faced," said Shilpan Amin, GM vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. "These top suppliers showed resilience and reinforced their commitment to pursuing sustainability and innovation. Through our strong relationships and collaboration, GM and our suppliers are poised to build a brighter future for generations to come."

Morley's mission to deliver extraordinary experiences began in 1863 when a pair of pioneering brothers bravely ventured into Saginaw, Michigan, and took up positions in a tiny hardware store. Today, employing roughly 2,800 associates throughout eight locations, Morley partners with Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies to provide a diverse set of services that include Meetings & Incentives, Business Process Outsourcing, and Exhibits & Displays.
